The
Accra representative of Medeama SC, Edmound Ackah has confirmed the readiness
of Medeama SC in Africa.
The
Tarkwa based first continental incursion begin with an away fixture in the preliminary
stage of the CAF Confederation Cup against Panthers FC from the Equatorial
Guinea. And the management member highlights on the readiness of the yellow and
mauve.
“
We are going to Africa for the first time but we are not going to Africa for
the last time. We will like to go to Africa year in year out, so we are
preparing to have a successful participation in Africa as well as winning the MTN FA Cup, so we are
leaving no stone unturn. We are going all out for both the League and the FA
Cup”. The management member said in an interview with a section of the media.
He
also confirmed the Secondi Sports Stadium as the home venue for their African
crusade . Medeama is the only Ghanaian club playing their first game away from
home.
Medeama
will kick of their African campaign on the 6th February 2014.
