midfielder Aaron Ramsey has tipped Portuguese and Real Madrid attacker
Christiano Ronaldo to win the 2013 Ballon d’or tonight in Zurich.
The
2013 FIFA Ballon d’or is been contested by three most influential footballers
in the world. Christiano Ronaldo of Portugal and Real Madrid fame, Lionel Messi
also of Barcelona and Argentina and Franck Ribery of France and Bayern Munich.
"Good
luck to Messi, Ronaldo and Ribery in the Ballon d'Or. Has to be Ronaldo for me,
69 goals in 60 games in 2013 is crazy"! Ramsey wrote on his twitter page.
Lionel
Messi will be hoping to win the award for the 5th time in a row
whiles Ronaldo, his strong competitor will be looking forward to clinch the
award for the 2nd time after emerging the winner in 2008. For Ribery
it would be 2 out of 2 after being crowned the 2013 European best some few
months ago.
But
the Welsh international believes the 28 year old Portugues international stands
a high chance of winning the prestigious award after scoring 69 goals in 60
games in the 2013 calendar year.
