Reports
indicates that French outfit St. Etienne have shown interest in signing
Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong from Premier League side Arsenal.
Frimpong
,22, have found it difficult to break into the Arsenal first team ever since graduating
from the Arsenal Academy in 2008 into the first team.
With
midfield dynamos such as Mikel Arteta, Santi Carzola , Jack Wilshire, Tomas
Rosicky and Mersut Ozil and seems breaking into the Arsenal set up will be much
difficult and a move for the young midfielder will do him a great favor
especially ahead of the World Cup.
But
reports says that the robust box to box midfielder might be joining the likes of Andre and Jordan
Ayew, Jonathan Mensah, John Boye and Majeed Warris in the French Liga 1 when
negotiation falls through.
Frimpong
have had spells with Charlton Athletic, Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan.
Frimpong
was invited to the black stars in Ghana’s World Cup qualifying group game with
Zambia.
