PREVIEW: WEEK 18 OF FIRST CAPITAL PREMIER LEAGUE




The First Capital premier league enters its week 18 on Wednesday 26th with some interesting fixtures coming on board.

Eight matches will take place at the various centers with the top liner being the game between Brekum Chelsea and Kpando Hearts of Lions at the Brekum Golden City Park. SPORTS LOUNGE brings you a preview of the games that will take place.

In Wa, Impressive Wa All Stars will be welcoming 14 place Aduana Stars at the Wa park.

After securing a win over Aduana Stars, Accra Hearts of Oak will be hoping to continue to redeem the clubs image as they face 15th place Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium. Dwarfs who are a relegation threatening side will also be hoping to secure all 3 points in Accra in other to keep their hopes alive in the league.

Elsewhere in Bekwai, Medeama SC will be willing to secure maximum points to boost their confidents in their African campaign but will have to do that at the expense of 6th placed New Edubiase as they battle it out at the Bekwai park. The yellow and mauves have not been impressive this season.

Amidaus Professional will be having a tough battle to deal with as they travel all the way to Kumasi to meet league leaders Asante Kotoko at the Kumasi Babayara Stadium. Kotoko who seems to be dominating the league are chasing their 3rd straight league title.

Whipping boys Inter Allais will also welcome King Faisal at the Tema Sports Stadium.

In other games, 3rd place Ashanti Gold who received a shocker in their week 17 league fixture after losing 2-0 at home to Bechem united will be traveling to face troublesome Secondi Hasaacas at the Essipong Sports Stadium.

In Bechem, Bechem united will be hoping to continue their impressive form in the second round under new coach Tom Strand as they invite Liberty professionals to the Nana Gyeabour park.

The final game which is obviously the match of the week will see 4th place Hearts of Lions facing off with Brekum Chelsea at the Brekum Golden City park.
