BLACK STARS TO HOLD FIRST TAINING SECTION IN BRAZIL TODAY






Ghana will have their first training session in Brazil on today after arriving in Maceio on Wednesday night.

Kwesi Appiah and his squad will train at the Estadio Rei Pele before they open their campaign in the tournament against the US on 16 June at Estadio das Dunas in Natal.

With the exception of striker Majeed Waris, who is recuperating from a thigh injury, Appiah will have the rest of the squad who will be put through their paces in the north-east part of the country as they prepare for the showpiece.

The Black Stars were the last team to reach Brazil on the same day group opponents, Portugal also touched down as all 32 participating teams are in Brazil ahead of the World Cup.

Ghana will face Germany on the 21 June at the Estadio Castelao in Fortaleza, and close their Group G campaign at the Estadio Nacional against Portugal on 26 June in Brasilia.
