Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman could be making a return
to the Bundesliga as the 19-year-old left back has been linked with a move to
Bundesliga side Ausburg.
Baba, a bronze medalist at the 2013 FIFA under 20 World Cup
in Turkey is said to have caught the eyes of Ausburg manager Markus Weinzierl
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko full back had a splendid
season with relegated side Greuther Furth during the 2013/14 season in the
German Bundesliga II when he made 22 appearances for the Cloverleaves.
The former Dreams FC player who was considered as a perfect
fit at the left back position for the Black Stars prior to the FIFA World Cup
failed to make the cut to the Brazil tournament as he was excluded from the 30
man provisional squad named by Black Stars head coach Kwasi Appiah.
The former Ghana Youth star was heavily linked with Bundesliga
outfits Nureburg and Freiburg.
