ASANTE KOTOKO BOUNCE BACK TO WINNING WAYS WITH 4-1 OVER ASH GOLD

League leaders Asante Kotoko bounced back to winning ways on Sunday afternoon after recording a 4-1 win over Ashanti Gold in the week 20 of the first capital plus premier league.

The Porcupine warriors who lost their local derby game against King Faisal in week 19 came in very strong after 2 goals from striker Seidu Bancey and a goal each from captain Micheal Akuffo and Richard Mpong ensured that the Kumapem lads maintained their impressive form this season. Ash Gold striker Emmanuel Osei Carlos got the consolation for the Miners.

The win leaves Kotoko on top of the log sheet with 45 points and nine more games to go. The defending champions are however chasing their third successive league title.
