Prolific Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan on Wednesday night scored in Al Ains 2-1 defeat in the Asian Champions League to Saudi side Al-Ittihad.
The 27 year old Ghanaian attacker scored in the 38th min to hand Al Ain the lead away from home, but the UAE side failed to hold on as they came back to concede 2 goals in the second half.
Gyan who was playing under his new manager lasted the entire duration of the game. The goal however increases Gyans tally to 22 this season for Al Ain.
