The first
capital plus bank premier league trophy which arrived in Ghana from Istanbul,
Turkey has been rated as the second largest football trophy on the globe.
The 90cm
high trophy which was presented to the Ghana FA during the unveiling ceremony
in Accra on Monday afternoon after it had been taken through the principal
streets of Accra has been rated behind the English premier league trophy.
Reports
indicate that the official trophy for the domestic league is by far bigger than
the FIFA World cup, UEFA Champions league as well as the French League.
