JOHN MENSAH MAKES SECOND NITRA APPEARANCE




General Captain for the Black Stars John Mensah on Saturday tasted his second appearance in a row for Slovakian side FC Nitra when they lost 2-1 to Senica.

The Ghanaian international lasted 72 min before he made way for 19 year old Bulgarian defender Marek Duben.


Slovakian defender Jaroslav  Kostelny had earlier on shot Nitra in the lead in the 3rd min before Senica’s midfielder Lukas Opiela equalized in the 68th min.  Senica’s Forward Juraj Piroska however got the winning goal in the 80th min to see Nitra taste their second defeat in a row.

The 31 year old who has joined the Slovakian side on a month deal will be hoping to keep his shape ahead of the World cup in three months time.
