ARSENE WENGER WARNS GERMANY, PORTUGAL ABOUT GHANA THREAT

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has warned Ghana’s World Cup group opponents Germany and Portugal not to underrate the African side at the 2014 World Cup.

The Frenchman believes the Black Stars are capable of causing major upsets against their overly regimented opponents in Group G.

“Germany and Portugal might be the favourites, but be careful of Ghana!” Wenger wrote in his Eurosport World Cup preview.

“They almost reached the semi-finals in South Africa. They have a good team.”

Ghana’s begins their campaign against the USA on June 16 in Natal before meeting Germany in Brasilia on June 21st and completing the group games with Portugal on June 26th in Fortaleza.
