The 18-year old left back is regarded
as one of the skillful players in the team. She is one of the few players who
have been graduated from the under 17 team [Black Maidens] into the team. Coleman hails from Cape-Coast.
After represented the Maidens
in three World Cup appearances thus in 2008, 2010 and 2012, Coleman now finds herself
one step further into the under 20 team.
She currently plays for Lady Strikers.
Ellen is well noted for her surging runs down the left and her agile crosses.
She can sometimes be used as a
left wing back or used at the left midfield position. She is one of the most
exciting players everyone will like to watch.
She started her football
career as a forward before being deployed at the left back position.
She was the deputy captain for
the under 17 bronze winning team two years ago in Azerbaijan.
She will be
making her maiden appearance at the under-20 World Cup. Loves the number 6
Jersey.
