Ghanaian international midfielder Isaac Coffie says with
Unity of purpose and determination, the Black Stars can succeed at the Brazil
2014 World Cup which rolled on Thursday June 12th.
Coach Kwasi Appiah’s team has been tipped to exit the competition
at the World stages having been paired in the same group as USA, Germany and
Portugal.
“The team is made up of a mixture of the young and
experience. We have the indispensable experience of the likes of Essien and
Sulley Muntari. We have the fighting spirit of Dede Ayew”, he told Power fm
The young lads like
Astu. And I think it all comes down to working as a team. So I think when we
work as a team with determination, we can go very far”, he added.
Some experience
soccer pundits including Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and former England star
Garry Linekar have predicted that the Stars `will not be able to go past Group
stages looking at the strength of the team a view that Arsenal Boss Arsene
Wenger disagrees.
Coffie who has three
caps to his credit failed to make the cut for the World Cup as he was left out
of the provisional squad for the mundial.
