Inter Allies
defender Baba Mensah has assertively predicted a 1-0 victory over Kumasi Asante
Kotoko in the FA Cup finals which will be played on Sunday June 8th
at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The 21 year
old center half whose immense exploits in defends helped the “eleven is to one”
boys finish 6th on the log says although Asante Kotoko stands as
favorite in Sundays crucial encounter, he deem his side can course an upset by
piping the premier league champions by a goal to nil.
“I know
Kotoko are the favorite coming into this game. They will be coming in very
strong especially because we beat them the last time we met with them. But I can
predict that we will beat them by one goal to nil on Sunday, Asha Allah!”, the
former Ghana under 20 player exclusively disclosed to SPORTS LOUNGE.
Inter Allies
beat Fayenood Academy at the semi-finals of this year’s FA Cup to advance to
the finals, while Asante Kotoko also defeated city rivals King Faisal to book
their place in the finals.
Kotoko,
three time finalists of the MTN FA Cup competition in the last four seasons,
will achieve the double they have been anticipating if they are able to defeat
the Tema-based Club on Sunday after winning the domestic top flight.
