ESSIEN WISH TEAM MATE MONTOLIVO WELL AFTER MIDFIELDER SUSTAINED AN INJURY



Ghana midfielder Michael Essien took to twitter sending AC Milan team mate and Italian International Riccardo Montolivo a speedy recovery after the 29 year old broke his leg in a pre-world cup friendly with the Republic of Ireland at Craven Cottage [London].

Montolivo’s injury however saw him being omitted from Cesare Prandelli’s final 23 man squad for the World Cup tournament.

Essien, by showing his sympathy took to twitter to wish his AC Milan team mate well.
“ @OfficialMonto get well soon captain. I hope you recover well for @acmilan next season and sorry you will not be in Brazil”

The Ghanaian international has established a genial relationship with his captain ever since joining AC Milan from Chelsea in January this year.

Essien is currently with the Black Stars in Miami [USA] preparing for the up-coming FIFA World cup which starts on June 12th.
