Three time
finalist Kumasi Asante Kotoko will take on premier league debutants Inter
Allies in the finals of the 2013/14 MTN FA Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on
Sunday June 8th .
SPORTS LOUNGE understands that the winner of this year’s MTN FA cup is set to scoop an amount
of GHS 30,000 plus 25% of the gate proceeds, while the runners up will take home
GHS 15,000 plus 25% of the gates proceeds.
Meanwhile both
clubs will get MTN credit worth GHS 1,000, while the best player of the match
will also take home an amount of GHS 200.
Information
gathered is that Women and Children will be allowed to watch the game for free
on Sunday.
Kotoko will complete
their double they have been anticipating if they are able to beat Inter Allies
on Sunday after winning the 2013/14 Ghana premier league. Meanwhile Inter
Allies on the other hand will represent Ghana in next year’s CAF Confederation
Cup whether or not they win on Sunday.
The
porcupine warriors will be going into their third final in four seasons after
losing in their two previous finals to Nania FC and Medeama SC respectively.
