Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah has shown readiness ahead of the team’s
crunch battle against the United States today.
The team left their camping base in Maceio to Natal Yesterday
where the big game will take place at the Estadio Das Dunas.
The two sides who will be meeting for a third successive time
after Ghana won all two previous meetings back in 2006 and 2010 respectively
will see the US coming in for revenge as they will be eager not to allow the
Black Stars beat them for a third straight time in World Cup history.
US German Coach Jurgen Klinsman has however thrown a word
of caution to the Black Stars as the former German head coach had declared
fireworks against the Africans. But Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah has indicated that
the team is ready to take on the Yanks in today’s big clash.
"We have prepared very
well, we've not had many injuries, which has been good," Appiah said ahead
of meeting Jurgen Klinsmann's side.
"And there's unity and
discipline within the squad. The boys are totally focused and looking forward
to tomorrow's[today] game."
The game will take place at exactly 22:00GMT.Thus 10pm
local time. Ghana won both previous meetings by 2-1.
