BRIEF PROFILE OF STEPHEN ADAMS

Stephen Adams (born 28 September 1989 in Kumasi) is a Ghanaian footballer who currently plays for Aduana Stars. He started his youth career with Hearts Babies before joining Dormaa Aduana Stars.

International career

Adams was a member of the 2012 local black stars team that participated in the CHAN tournament in 2012. He was also a member of the Chan team in 2014 and helped them win silver at the tournament in which he was adjudged the second best goalkeeper for the tournament after he displayed an excellent performance.  

Adams earned his first call-up for The Black Stars on 13 May 2010 for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He likes to wear the number 22 shirt but will be in the number 1 shirt at the World Cup for Ghana. He has no cap for the senior national team and will be making his World Cup debut.
