Germany midfielder Mario Gotze has described their second
group game against Ghana to be tough. The 22 year old creative midfielder who
earned a starting role in Germany’s opening game against Portugal believes
Ghana can cause a threat despite losing 2-1 to USA, tagging the Black Stars as
a stiff opposition.
Germany, under the guidance of head coach Joachim Loew
recorded an emphatic 4-0 win over Portugal last Monday.
Although the Die Mannschaft on paper has been tipped as
favorite ahead of the crucial encounter on Saturday, the Bayern Munich man considers
the game to be tough.
“It won’t be easy given that Ghana now need three points no
matter what. It’ll be a very tough game, but we can be confident about it”, he
told FIFA.com
Saturday’s meeting will be the second time the two sides
will be facing each other at the World Cup after the Germans beat Ghana 1-0
four years ago in South Africa.
