GRUZAH NOT IN SUPPORT OF BLACK STARS WAGS AT WC

Owner of Premier League side King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Gruzah has lashed out at the issue of allowing Black Stars players to take their Wives and Girlfriends (WAGS) along with them to the World Cup.

There have been consents among the Ghanaian public on whether to or not to take their spouse and squeezes with them during the Global soccer Mundial. But the veteran Football administrator believes there is no need to take the WAGS of the players to the World Cup.

“Tell me the people doing that? What is their position in the world? It is not necessary. For me am not in support of that”. Alhaji told Accra based Peace FM.

There has been a huge public outcry, with most Ghanaian sports fans lashing out at Stephen Appiah, since the former Black Stars captain stated that the current crop of senior national team players must be permitted to fly their wives and girlfriends to Ghana’s Maceio camping base in Brazil during the World Cup.
