INTER ALLIES DEFENDER BABA MENSAH CONFIDENT OF TEAM’S SURVIVAL IN THE LEAGUE

Inter Allies defender Baba Mensah has stated he is confidents of the clubs survival in the domestic top flight.

Inter Allies who are currently lying 14th on the log sheet with just 28 points after 24 games in the First Capital plus Premier League are hoping to endure themselves in the league after a poor run, especially in the first half of the season.

But the “11 is to One boys” as they are popularly called by their fans have been in great form ever since head coach Herbert Addo took charge and have managed to dig themselves out from the bottom.

But the 20 year old Baba Mensah, believes they can survive in the league with six games to go.

“Looking at the League table, it is not stable. We have six games to go and everyone can go to relegation. So we are taking match after match and working very hard to stay in the league. And looking at the way things are going for us now I am confident we will survive in the league”. The former Ghana under 20 defender exclusively told SPORTS LOUNGE.

The burly defender was a vital member of the Ghana’s Black Satellites bronze winning team in Turkey last year. He joined Inter Allies from Israeli side Neve Yussuf prior to the start of the 2013/2014 season.
