JORDAN SCORES IN SOCHAUX STALEMATE

Ghanaian international Jordan Ayew scored in Sochaux 2-2 draw away at Bastia on Saturday night.

The Olympic Marseille loanee opened the floodgates in the 45th min when he received a perfect cross from France international Julien Faussurier to head home from close range.

The 23 year old who had been hit by critics from most Ghanaian football fans for his poor run of goal scoring form ever since joining the Les Lionceaux in the January transfer window could have made it two in the 64th min when his right footed shot outside the penalty box was saved by the Bastia Goalkeeper.

Jordan’s goal ends the weekend for the Ayew brothers on a perfect note as his elder brother Andre Ayew scored three times for Olympic Marseille on Friday night.

The goal however makes it Jordan’s second for Herve Renard’s men since joining on loan from Marseille.
