JORDAN AYEW SCORES TO EARN SOCHAUX A VITAL HOME WIN



Striker Jordan Ayew was on the score sheet when his side Sochaux defeated Toulouse 2-0 at home in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday night.

The 22 year old loanee scored on the 15th min mark to put his side into the lead after receiving a perfect through pass from Zambian international Nathan Sinkala.

Sochaux midfielder Roy Contout got his sides second in the 49th min to ensure the Les Lionceaux earn all three points. The Ghanaian international who had a good game was booked in the 58th min and was substituted in the 74th for Zambian striker Emmanuel Mayuka.

The goal makes it Ayew’s third for Sochaux since joining them in January. The win however sends Herve Renard’s men to 18th on the table with 30 points.
