GHANA CYCLING CAN PLAY SECOND FIDDLE TO FOOTBALL-DENNIS MOORE

Communication director of the Ghana Cycling Association, Dennis Moore has anticipated Ghana Cycling can play a second fiddle to Football especially with the packed programmed the sports will be having this year.

“This year is going to be a packed one. Already we have two cyclist who will be leaving the shores of Ghana to South Africa in February ending as a result of the President nomination onto the UCI arbitrary committee and that is a huge success for the Federation”.

This year we have packed programs. We have the ECOWAS Cycling tour, tour du Togo etc. I really think perhaps Ghana Cycling might just place second fiddle to football”. He said.

Ghana’s Cycling team showed a much improved performance as they clocked an overall average speed of 42km/hr to place third in the overall Team Classification two years ago in Togo after overcoming Togo, Benin, Burkina faso and  Mali.
And Dennis Moore believes this year would be one of the best years for Ghana Cycling.
