SPORTS LOUNGE understands that Head coach
of the national under 23 team (Black Meteors), Malik Jabil has approached
Premier league outfits Ebuasua Dwarfs to
coach the side.
Dwarfs
who are currently being coached by assistant coach Rashid Iddi after the team
allowed head coach Proff. Mintah to go on a sick leave before the end of the
first round of the Ghana premier league have been on the chase for a new head
coach since the return of proff. Mintah can’t be guaranteed.
And
reports indicates that the former Asante Kotoko coach has approached the Cape
Coast based club to head them when the second round of the league begins on
February 9th this year.
In
an interview with an Accra based radio station, the Black Meteors head coach
did admit the fact that he has actually approached Dwarfs and has written a
letter to officials of the club to hand him the job since the Black Meteors do
not have any major competition till 2016.
Dwarfs
finished at the 15th position at the end of the first round of the
domestic league and are in hunt of a new coach to handle the club.
