Former
Black Stars Coach, Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie says he is impressed with the level
of performance of teams competing in
this years Championships of African nations( CHAN ) in South Africa.
There
were issues among the media and various
football loving fans wherether or not the Competition was going to have it’s
needed excitement prior to the tournament.
But
the Veteran coach has expressed his satisfaction with the tournament so far.
Speaking
with Ghanasportsonline, the former national under 17 and 20 coach said, “
Yea, it has been good soo far, am impressed with the sort of football am
seeing. You know most have the perception that African’s don’t play the kind of
exciting football. Teams like Uganda and Mali have really exhibited some good
football and I hope it continues to the other teams till the end of the
competition”. Afranie said.
The
CHAN which is an African Cup competition organized for locally home based
players on the African continent kick started on the 11th of January
this month and will end on the 1st of February next month.
Ghana
will be hoping to win their first trophy since it’s introduction in 2009.
