KETASCO CROWNED 2014 SPRITE BALL CHAMPIONS

Keta Senior High School’s male basketball team from the Volta Region was crowned the champion of the 7th edition of the SPRITE BALL  after defeating  Legon Presbyterian boys Senior High School by 25 points to 18  in the  finale of the annual competition at the El Wak Stadium on Saturday.

It was the first time Keta Senior high lifted the trophy after failing on three occasions.

 Sedem Tettevi  from Ketasco clinched the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament Award  after displaying an impressive performance in the competition.

New entrants  TI Ahmadiyya Senior High School from Kumasi also won  the trophy in the female category  after defeating 2013 winner Aggrey Memorial Senior High School by 21-15 points in a hotly contested finals.

Amass Captain Rachel Obeng and Abigail Frema were also adjudged the most valuable players in the female category.
 
Yaw Sakyi, CEO of right multimedia, organizers of the competition expressed his satisfaction on the competition.
