BLACK STARS WILL NOT CAMP IN BRAZIL-SANNIE DARRA

Communication Director of the Ghana Football Association Ibrahim Sannie Darra says the Black will not be camping in Brazil according to reports.
This means the Ghana FA will be standing by its original plan to consider holding the Black Stars pre-World Cup camping from May 25th in either Europe or America.

“No! We don’t have any plans of camping in Brazil. We are still forming our plans. We have not firmed them up yet. We won’t rush just because the United States have named their camping place therefore we will also go and do the same,” Mr. Sannie Darra said in interview

“There is a difference between them and us. Majority of their players play at home. Their League (MLS) came to an end in November so they can use the opportunity to go and camp. We (Ghana), Germany and Portugal cannot camp now because our players are still playing competitively. That gives them a training advantage over us but it’s not a distinct advantage,” he added.

Ghana’s group opponent the USA according to reports will be camping in Sao Paulo(Brazil) ahead of the  FIFA World Cup.
