roller of Kumasi King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Gruzah has expressed his joy over
the new sponsor deal for the Ghana Premier League.
The
Ghana FA on Tuesday signed a five (5) year sponsorship deal with First Capital
Plus Bank. The deal was worth about $10 million will see First Capital Plus pay
an amount of $2 million every year, and the owner of the Kumasi based club says
he is very happy about the new sponsorship.
“I
am very happy because it will help most of the Clubs, it will reduce some of
our cost. We for instance, we owe many companies, so this sponsorship will help
us pay some. I am very very happy. The FA has done well”. Gruzah told SPORTS LOUNGE exclusively in an interview.
FA
boss Kwasi Nyantekyi on Monday flew from South Africa to Ghana to officially
sign the deal. The domestic top flight is currently on break and resume on the
9th of February.
