Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu could seal a
potential move to English side Liverpool during this winter transfer window.
Latest reports coming in from Italian reputable
site Sky Italia claim that
Liverpool have indeed made an offer and are in advanced negotiations that could
send the 23 year-old Udinese man to Anfield if both parties come into final
agreement.
Just last month The Metro reported that
the former Kotoko player had been recommended by scouts to Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers .
However
Badu has not been the favorite for Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin this season as the 2009 FIFA Under 20 World Cup winner has
featured in 12 of Udinese’s 19 league games this season, scoring once.
A
potential move for the 2012 FIFA Puskas nominee will see him as the first ever
Ghanaian to play for the Merseyside club.
He
played a key role in Ghana’s
qualification to the World Cup in Brazil.
