Black Stars defender Jerry Akaminko says he is not in a rush
to make any move away from his current club Eskirshirspor.
The 26 year old have been linked with several offers after
an impressive season so far with the Red Lightnings Star of Anatolia.
Following his impressive performances in the Turkish
top-flight, Akaminko has attracted interest from German, British and French
teams who closely monitor his matches.
But the former Hearts of Lions man who is keen on a move
which will catapult him to the limelight by playing in one of the most
respected leagues in Europe, boosting his chances of making Ghana’s 2014 World
Cup squad says he is not in a haste to make a move.
“At the moment I have a contract which is going to expire in
2016 and then am not too in a harry to leave Eskirshirspor although there are
some few clubs who are interested. But for now am concentrating on my games. So
I will leave that to my managers. I leave it to whoever is in charge. We also
have the world cup ahead of us and am concentrating on that to. So for now I
don’t want to concentrate on transfer”, Akaminko told Power FM.
Akaminko who turns 26 on Friday also adds that his attention is fixed on the World Cup.

The hard working defender who has also been linked with
Turkish gaints Fenebache and Galatasery will be hoping to make the cut for
Ghana’s squad at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
