Ghana
midfielder Andre Ayew has ruled out a possible move away from French side
Olympic Marseille.
Media reports indicated that the 24 year old is set to leave
the Stade Veladrome come next season with offers coming from European giants
Napoli and Liverpool.
But the
second son of Ghanaian Legend Abedi Pele has officially indicated that he is
not aware of any offer from any club.
“I’m not
aware of any offer from Napoli or Others”, he posted on his official twitter
handle.
It was
reported last week that Italian outfit Napoli have tabled down an amount of $14
million to obtain the signature of the 2011 BBC player of the year award
winner.
The 2009
under 20 World Cup winner was heavily linked with a move to Premiership side
Liverpool FC, while Newcastle United were also reported as showing interest
prior to the start of the 2013-14 season.
Ayew have
scored 36 times for the Les Phoceens in 114 appearances since joining them in
2007 at a tender age.
