JERRY AKAMINKO RECEIVES WARM BIRTHDAY WISHES FROM BLACK STARS TEAM MATES AND ESKISEHIRSPOR.




Black Stars defender Jerry Akaminko received warm birthday wishes from friends and family especially from his Black Stars team mates on Friday as he turned 26.

The hard working defender who plays for Turkish outfit Eskisehirspor was born on May 2nd 1988. The former Heart of Lions and Ghana under 17 skipper received messages on his twitter page from the likes of defender Jonathan Mensah, Daniel Opare, Kwadwo Asamoah and the Eskisehirspor family.

Eskisehirspor: A huge shoutout to birthday boy @Jville15 a wall in our defense. Hope for many years under the red and black uniform.

Akaminko was the captain of the Ghana under 17 team (Black Starlet) that failed to win the 2005 African under 17 championships in Gambia after they were beaten 1-0 by host Gambia in the finals.

He has also played for local side Heart of Lions as well as Turkish outfits Orduspor and Manisaspor.

He made his debut and scored his first goal for Ghana on June 1, 2012 in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification against Lesotho at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
