The Porcupets
who lost their first two opening games in the tournament 3-0 and 1-0 to Benfica
and FC Zurich respectively showed resilience as they finished the group with
four points after today’s games.
Kotoko will
now have to wait to play another team from Group B to determine their position
in the tournament which has 10 teams competing.
After the game,
Youth Development coach, Abdul Karim Zito said in an interview that his teams’
participation in the 2014 Blue Stars FIFA Youth Cup would expose his players to
perfect conditions for their development.
He said the
tourney would in totality help Kotoko Youth team to grow since it would shape
the careers of the young players in no small way.
