Accra Hearts
of oak defender Nuru Sulley has uttered confidence ahead of their epic clash
with bitter rivals Asante Kotoko at the Babayara Sports Stadium saying they
will cause an upset in the garden city come Sunday.
The 24 year
old who will be in the Hearts of defense for the Rainbow club says he and his
colleagues have put in maximum effort ahead of the super clash on Sunday.
“All the players
confident are very high and we know we have worked a lot towards this match
throughout the week, and if we are able to make in the effort we gained this
week, we are going to put all strength and ability into this game”, Nuru told SPORTS LOUNGE exclusively
“We are
praying for God’s luck on Sunday. We don’t want Kotoko to beat us back to
back”, he added.
Sunday’s
game will be the 100th time the two sides will be meeting. Asante
Kotoko however won the first league at the Accra Sports Stadium by 1-0 courtesy
a Seidu Bancey thunderous strike.
