Ghana’s
Black Satellites beat Sierra Leon 2-0 in the first League of the African Youth
Qualifiers in Freetown on Saturday.
Two goals in
each half from Dennis Tetteh and Prosper Kasim gave Ghana an upper hand over
the shooting starts going into the second league.
Dennis
Tetteh shot Ghana in front in the 38th minutes before winger Prosper Kasim sealed victory for
the Satellites 7 minutes from time with a perfect finish to make the second
league which will be played at the Tamale Sports Stadium on May 25th
a mere formality.
The Black
Satellites will meet the winner between Rwanda and Gabon if they manage to
qualify to the next round.
The 2015
African Youth Championships will be staged in Senegal. Ghana were silver
medalist at the last edition of the competition in Algeria after losing on
penalties to Egypt.
