Fabulous
ladies will miss the services of prolific striker Agnes Aduako in their crucial
league finals with Hasaacas ladies on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black
Queens striker who is the current top scorer in the league picked up a knee injury
while training with her team mates on Tuesday and is set to miss the crunch game
against the Westsiders in the Ghana women’s league final.
In an
interview with Power FM, President of Fabulous ladies Habiba Attah confirmed
the injury suffered by the 24 year old and stated that it is going to be a blow
for his side going into the game.
“It will
affect us a lot because she is our top scorer and our top striker. She scores
almost all our goals. She was the top scorer last year and she is currently the
goal Queen this year. So you can see how it will affect us”, she said.
The two
sides will be meeting for the second time in the finals of the National women’s
league after both side met last year which saw Hasaccas Ladies annexing
champions after beating their counterparts on penalties.
