NURU SULLEY STILL CONFIDENT OF MAKING BLACK STARS SQUAD AFTER WORLD CUP

Hearts of Oak defender Nuru Sulley is still keen on making it into the Black Stars team after failing to make Kwasi Appiah’s 26 provisional man squad named on Monday.

The 23 year old was tipped by Ghanaian football pundits and fans to be one of the local players who could have possibly made Coach Appiah’s squad.

Nonetheless the former Accra Great Olympics and Tudu Mighty Jets player still maintains high hopes of making it into the team after the World Cup.

“Well I’m still eyeing a place in the Black Stars team after the World Cup no matter the situation. I’m not disappointed about the fact that I couldn’t make it into the team. I rather think it will help me make it a better position rather. I know I will defiantly make it into the team sometime”, he said in an exclusive interview with SPORTS LOUNGE

Kwasi Appiah will need most of his players just after the World Cup for the 2015 AFCON qualifiers, and since it will be clear the Ghanaian tactician might not get a full house as most of his lads will be on Club duties with their respective teams for the Pre-season trainings, Appiah would have no option but to turn his attention to the local league.

Nuru was part of the local Black Stars team that won silver at the CHAN tournament in South Africa earlier this year.
