SCHLUPP HOPING TO MAKE FINAL 23 MAN SQUAD TO BRAZIL.




After finding a place in Coach Kwasi Appiah’s 26 provisional man squad, defender Jeffery Schlupp has reacted by holding high sanguinity of making the final cut to Brazil.

The 21 year old Leicester City left back who have managed just one cap for the Black Stars was selected based on his inspiring performance with the Foxes this season and managing to help them gain promotion to the English Premier League.

The burly lateral defender has therefore uttered positive of making the squad to the Copa Mundail.

 “Just like to thank everyone for all the lovely messages. Looking forward to meeting up with the team and to hopefully make the 23 man squad!”, he tweeted.

Schlupp was a surprise inclusion in Ghana’s provisional World Cup squad which was named on Monday May 15. The striker turned defender has been tipped by many to be the solution of Ghana’s left back problem over the past years. The former Brentford player will be hoping to make an impression at the World’s biggest football event in Brazil next month if he manages to make the Ghana team.
