SATELLITES DEFENDER JOSEPH AIDOO CONFIDENT ON VICTORY OVER SIERRA-LEON




Black Satellites defender Joseph Aidoo has expressed confident ahead of the team’s crucial African Youth qualifier against the shooting stars of Sierra-Leon at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Saturday.

The 19 year old deputy captain of the side says, he believes they can secure a massive win over their counterparts and advance to the next round of the qualifiers.

“We are going all out and everyone is ready for the game. Surely by the grace of God we will beat them [Sierra-leon] and advance to the next stage”, he told SPORTS LOUNGE exclusively.

The hard-working defender went on to call for support from Tamale fans asking them to troupe in their numbers to support the team to victory.

“I want everyone to be at the stadium and support us especially the Tamale fans. With their support we will always come out victorious”, he added.

The Black Stars will be going into the game as favorites after recording a convincing 2-0 with of their counterparts a fortnight ago in Freetown.

Ghana, silver medalist at the last edition of the African Youth Championships in Algeria will be hoping to stage another appearance at the competition which will be held in Senegal in 2015.
