Being
confident he could make the cut to Brazil, black Stars defender Harrison Afful
has promised to give in his best at the soccer mundial come next month.
Harrison
Afful who missed the last edition of the tournament in South Africa will be
making his debut World Cup appearance with the Black Stars. But the 27 year old
versatile defender says he will offer his maximum best for the team in Brazil.
The former
Asante Kotoko left back who now plays for Tunisia giants Esperance believe
playing at the world cup is like a dream come true and he is going to give his best
when given the opportunity.
“With the
support of Ghanaians I think everything is going on well for Harrison Afful. Is
like a dream come true and everything is going on well for me so I am going to
give my maximum best at the tournament when am given the opportunity to play”,
Harrison said before the team enplaned to the Netherlands.
The former
Fayenood Academy product is however expected to make head coach kwasi Appiah’s
squad to the tournament which has 16 days to kick start.
