ASANTE KOTOKO STRETCH 10 POINTS LEAD




League leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday continued their dominance in the league by beating Ebusua Dwarfs by 2-1 in their outstanding league fixture at the Kumasi Babayara Sports Stadium.

Two goals from defender Smallboy Koba and striker Abdul Aziz Yusif ensured Asante Kotoko secured all 3 points. Dwarfs striker Richard Gadze however got the consolation for the Abontuabontua boys.

The win means the Porcupine warriors secure their eighth straight win at home. The win however sees the reds stretch their point gap to 10. The Kumapem lads now has 40 points to their credit. 10 points adrift arch rivals Hearts of Oak who has 30 point in 2nd place.

Asante Kotoko now face Amidaus professionals in their week 18 fixture on Wednesday the 26th  of February in Kumasi.
