PREVIEW: WEEK 16TH OF GHANA PREMIER LEAGUE ROUND UP



                         


The week 16th of the First Capital Plus Premier League took place today at the various centers as we saw some interesting and shocking results being recorded.

In  Accra, Hearts of Oak failed to avenge their 3-0 defeat in the first round to All Stars as the Wa based side had a 2nd straight win over the Phobian’s when they beat them 3-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium. 3 goals from Wa All Stars Samuel Boateng, Abdul Ganiu and Paul Asare De-Vries saw All Stars run away with all 3 points.

Elsewhere at the Bekwai , New Edubiase managed a narrow 1-0 win over Aduana stars at the Bekwai park, courtesy a 41st min penalty from midfielder Nuhu Fuseini.

A 25th min strike and 68th min header from Kojo Poku and Isaac Quansah respectively saw Kpando Hearts of Lions continue their impressive form as they beat Dansoman based Liberty professionals by 2-0 at the Kpando Sports Stadium.

At the Nana Ogyebuo park in Bechem, Bechem united humbled King Faisal by 2 goals to nill. Whiles the last game saw Hassacas and Amidaus professionals sharing spoils at the Essipong Sports Stadium in Secondi.
