KOTOKO PLAYERS VOW TO APIECE FANS WITH LEAGUE TROPHY

Players of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have vowed to apiece their fans by winning the 2013/2014 League title after failing to progress in this year’s CAF Champions League competition.

The Porcupine warrior failed to advance to the next round of the champions’ league after they were painfully knocked out by Liberia champions Barrack Young controllers in the first round of the campaign.

Kotoko who had gone into the second league tier with a slim 2-1 advantage were beaten  1-0  in the second league to make it 2-2 on aggregate but the Liberians qualified on the away goal rule .

The setback however did not prevent Kotoko over their dominance in the domestic League as they managed to pip Takwa based Medeama SC 1-0 in their outstanding league fixture on Thursday  to keep them top on the log.

However players of the defending league champions have taken it as a responsibility to defend their league title in other to make amends.
