BLACK QUEENS COACH YUSIF BASIGI DON’T THINK BURKINA CAN IMPOSE ANY THREAT

Head coach of the Black Queens, Yusif Basigi says, he does not think Burkina Faso can impose any threat on his team.

The Black Queens of Ghana managed a comfortable 3-0 win over Burkina Faso two weeks ago in Ouagadougou and the coach believes looking at the strength of his team, he does not think coach Adama Dembele’s ladies can cause any threat when the two face off in Saturdays encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“I don’t think they can cause any threat all though they are a good side. They were quite physical. I know they will be coming in very strong because they lost in the first league. But we have managed to talk to the girls to take out any complacency so I think we will be approaching this game with much seriousness”. He told Accra based Power FM

The Black Queens are chasing their 8th appearance at the African women championships after failing to make it to the tournament two years ago in Equatorial Guinea.

Ghana is likely to meet Ethiopia if they manage to advance to the next round.
