EDUBIASE TO MOVE HOME VENUE FROM BEKWAI

CEO of New Edubiase, Abdul Salam Yakubu has revealed that the club will soon move its home venue from Bekwai to Assin Fosu.

There were speculations that the chief of Bekwai Nana Karikari Appau has decided to sack them from playing at Bekwai, but the CEO has denied those speculations saying they are all false.

According to him, the board of Edubiase has decided to move the clubs home venue from Bekwai due to the low rate at which fans come to watch the club’s games.

“ Is not as if the chief is sacking us from Bekwai, but is just because the rate at which people come to watch our games is low, so we have decided to shift venue. We went to meet the Chief of Assin Fosu who has also expressed his desire to accept us. Stating that the town have not got any major football team and that we coming there will also help the football communities there to enjoy watching some football games in the town at least. So that is the situation”. He told Sena fm.

“The people of Assin Fosu are willing to welcome us to their town”. He added.

The Bekwai Gyemfi park has been the home venue for Edubiase ever since their maiden appearance in the Ghanaian top flight in 2008/2009 season.
