REVEALED: MAXWELL KONADU DISCLOSE JOHUA TIJANI AS HIS UNSUNG HERO IN CHAN

After 20 days since the Heartbreak of the Ghanaian football public, when the local Black Stars once again failed to end the long- aged jinx of not winning any silver wear in 32 years, the Head coach of the local Black Stars Maxwell Konadu has pointed out some various individuals who participated for Ghana as being exceptional in the tournament. But exclusively revealed to SPORTS LOUNGE that left back Joshua Tijani was his unsung Hero in the team.

“Joshua Tijani, I think he was the unsung hero of  the team. No body knew him from anywhere and all of a sudden playing like..I think he wasn’t too popular as at the time we were going for the tournament. But he played one-two matches and people were like where from this guy. He showed that he has quality. But all the same I don’t think he was the overall best player of the tournament”. He spoke with SPORTS LOUNGE.

Ghana finished runners up for the 2nd time in the history of the tournament after losing to Libya on penalties.
