Head
coach of Panthers of Equatorial Guinea, Silva says he is counting on Ghanaian
midfielder Bernard Don Bortey to do the harm when his side take on Medeama SC
in the second league tier of the their CAF Confederation preliminary match on
Sunday at the Essipong stadium.
Medeama
who made their qualification a mere formality by managing to squeeze a 2-1 win
over their counterparts last week Sunday in Malabo will be hoping to avoid any complacency when they
face the Equatoguineans on Sunday the 16th of March.
But
the trainer who only lost his first match to the Ghanaian side after his
appointing few weeks ago has relied all his hopes in the former Hearts of Oak winger.
The
former Aduana stars player missed the first League in Malabo through injury but
has been cleared fit to play in Sunday’s clash. Bortey joined Panthers at the
beginning of the 2013-2014 season after a 2year stint with Dormaa Aduana Stars.
