Ghanaian
born Italian Mario Bewuah Balloteli was in tears after he was substituted by
Milan coach Clerance Seedorf when Milan lost to Napoli on Saturday night.
The
23 year old Ghanaian born was substituted by his coach in the 72nd
minutes and bust into tears as soon as he went to sit on the bench.
No
one could really figure out what went on at the bench after that particular
substitution. But what one could tell was that the “Bad Boy” did not really had
a good game as he squandered some glorious chances.
“What can I say about Balotelli’s tears? They were the tears of a sportsman,” said Coach Seedorf in a Press conference.
In an interview with Mediaset Premium Seedorf also noted “Mario is human. These are things that happen many times in football and sport in general. I’d say it was actually beautiful, but I’d prefer to talk about the game.”
So it seems Seedorf believes Balotelli's tears were simply down to his frustration with the match and passion for the game.
