Ghanaian
prodigious defender David Nii Addy has revealed to SPORT LOUNGE stating that
his best ever moment in his football career was when he help the Ghana under 20
team, the Black Satellites to win Africa’s first ever World cup trophy at that
level.
Ghana
hit the World by storm when the Black Satellites beat Brazil at the finals of
the 2009 under 20 World championships in Egypt to annex champions of the
tournament for the first time in history of Ghana and African football as a
whole, and the 24 year old Vitoria Guimeres left back says that moment was his
best ever moment in his career.
“
It is the great feeling, the World cup. I won I think two-three Gold. The
African cup was ok, but I think the World cup was exceptional. I have never had
that wonderful experience in my life. We had a good captain, We were united, we
were like a family. We had a good coach who had confident in us. In fact
everything was perfect. Going into the game we all said to ourselves we will
win. We had no difficulties because we believed in our self and that helped us
in a way”. He told SPORTS LOUNGE.
David
Addy is a former player of Dansoman Liberty professionals and has also played
his traits with Portugues champions FC Porto and Acadamica before joining
Vitoria Guimeres in 2011.
